A great beach cleanup Sat. June 26th!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We had a lovely beach cleanup this morning! Perfect weather, with a little mist to keep us cool.

We had an energetic group of beach cleaners! We started at Kenney’s, it wasn't too bad, so we all decided to head over to McCabes Beach.

All in all, we collected a decent amount of trash! Bottles, cans, lots of micro plastic, cigarette butts and lighters, bottle tops, fishing line, some socks, a little yellow plastic shovel (that David had to keep for making sandcastles) the usual stuff!

Shared some of our iced tea and donuts with the security kids at McCabes (they truly appreciated the refreshing snack!).

Now that it’s finally summer, I anticipate more beach goers and more trash! Till next time, keep on pickin!
